Join Lost Entity Paranormal for a night inside one of the UK’s most atmospheric and intriguing historic buildings — Woodchester Mansion.
Unfinished, isolated, and steeped in history, the mansion has long been associated with unexplained activity, strange sounds, and sightings that cannot easily be explained. This is not a theatrical event. This is a structured paranormal investigation where you will take part in real experiments and vigils throughout the mansion.
During the night, you will take part in a number of paranormal experiments which may include table tipping, glass divination, calling out sessions, and group vigils in some of the mansion’s most active areas. There will also be the opportunity for lone vigils for those who feel comfortable doing so. You will be investigating dark corridors, large empty rooms, staircases, and areas where activity has been reported over the years.
Many reports from the mansion include footsteps in empty rooms, doors closing on their own, shadows seen on the staircases, and unexplained noises coming from the unfinished wings of the building. Visitors and investigators have also long spoken of a chilling legend connected to the grounds — the story of the Black Shuck, a ghostly black hound said in folklore to roam lonely places and ancient pathways. Some believe the “Hound of Hell” has been seen or sensed around the mansion grounds at night, adding to the already heavy atmosphere of this remarkable location. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced investigator, this night is about experiencing the location for yourself.
