About Llanhilleth Miners Institute: Founded in 1906, this significant landmark supported miners and their families during the coal industry's peak, serving as a centre for education and community welfare. The current building opened in 1906, costing approximately £7,000 at the time. It housed a library, assembly hall, and pool. Though some features have changed, it remains a vital heritage site, rich in local folklore and valley legends.
Ghostly Activity
